The Human Resources Department of Butte County Office of Education serves the employment needs of each of its programs and departments spanning the full scope of services from recruitment to retirement. Along with recruitment, selection, and retention efforts, our HR department provides employee classification and salary placement, contract management, and maintains personnel policies, regulations, records, and legal references.

Our office is located at 1859 Bird Street in Oroville, California. From Highway 70, take the Montgomery Street exit and go approximately 1/2 mile east. Just as you pass the Pahl-Goodhue Ford Dealership on the left, make a right turn onto Lincoln Boulevard, a one-way street. Travel one block, and you will see our building to your left. There are several visitor parking lots in the area as well as limited on-street parking. You may enter the front entrance stairs or the rear entrance ramp.
