Using the Online Staff Development Calendar

With easy access from the BCOE home page, the new online registration for all Butte County Office of Education Professional Development events and trainings make signing up for an event a breeze. Forgot what time the event begins or where it is being held? The online master calendar can help.

Created and developed by the talented staff at Center for Distributed Learning, this new tool has many wonderful features. It provides a single location on the Internet to find all our trainings and events, immediate confirmation sent to your email to verify that you are registered for an event and automatic recognition by the computer using your email address so you only have to enter personal and contact information once.

To sign up or review classes currently posted, visit the BCOE home page at www.bcoe.org and follow the link as displayed below.

At the Professional Development Calendar, use the navigation at the bottom to go to a specific month and click the Go button or use the month>> arrows on either side of the current month to navigate.

To view a list of classes, use the button titled List View to see a comprehensive list of classes for that month.

To see details about a specific event, click on the link in either the List View or the Calendar View.

 

The detailed information about the event will be displayed. It will include an overview of the event, the date, time and location, the cost, if any, the number of seats available and the button link to register for the event.

 

 

When the button is clicked to
a new page will appear.

 

Key your email address into the text box and click the Next>> button.

The next screen will show a registration form. You will only need to fill this information out one time, unless there are changes. The program fills in your information based upon your email address. Items with an asterisk are required fields. Once you have completed the form, click the submit button to register for this event.

A screen with detailed information will appear.

Personal Information will appear below.

 You will also receive an email in your inbox with all of the event information.

It is recommended that you save or print this confirmation for your records.
