Advertisers are pouncing on this technology to get their promotions, gimmicks and messages to anyone who will read it. Email can be a welcome form of communication or very annoying when it is uninvited. Advertisers send massive amounts of email known as junk mail or spam hoping that a few will prompt a response. Here are some tips for avoiding unwanted email
If you are receiving inappropriate or offensive email, forward the email to Information Technology Services with the subject line junk mail notification. ITS is making every effort to filter inappropriate junk mail at the server. The E-Teacher
