![]() May 15, 2002 Outlook - Creating Sub-Folders By Teresa Lightle- Computer Training Coordinator Creating Folders and Sub Folders for your messages Most of us when we get home from work, remove the mail from our mailbox, look through it and then make some decisions as to what to do with it. If it's advertising I usually browse through it and toss it away. If it is a bill I put it in a basket in my office and if it is a personal letter I may read it and then decide to throw it out or file it. E-mail users need to deal with e-mail the same way. Your Inbox serves as your mailbox. Items should be dealt with in a timely manner. If you don't need the message delete it. If the message contains an attachment (for virus information, see Tech Tips February 15, 2002), you should open the attachment and then save it to your permanent folder on the local server, then delete the message.
