This is the image for the news article titled Gridley High School Student Photo Nationally RecognizedThe American Association of Physics Teachers held the 2015 AAPT High School Physics Photo Contest this past spring. Congratulations to Robynn Law's Gridley High student who submitted "The Light Path of Heat Waves" picture.  Her picture made it into the top 100 out of more than 700 submissions. Robynn was enrolled in Mr. Allard’s class and has worked very hard to improve her photography. The AAPT photo contest provides "an opportunity to learn about the physics behind natural and contrived situations by creating visual and written illustrations of various physical concepts.  Students compete in an international arena with more than 1,000 of their peers for recognition and prizes.”
