The Migrant Education Outreach
Program (MEOP) is a program designed for young adults who are
not currently enrolled in school, who are 21 and under and have
not graduated from high school and who qualify for the Migrant
Education Program. The intent of this program is to provide the
resources available that meet their needs and to motivate them
to pursue their education and options:
Who may apply? Anyone who is 21 years of age or under who is not currently enrolled in school and has not graduated from high school and who: Is a child of or is himself/herself a migrant agricultural worker or a migratory fisherman who; Moves with or without his/her family across district boundaries or from one state to another for the purpose of finding temporary or seasonal employment in agriculture, fishing or in the lumber industry.
