Kings Rally Students Affected by Dam Emergency
Slamson PictureMorning studies took a 30-minute break Thursday morning, April 27 while representatives from the Sacramento Kings rallied students at assemblies in Palermo, Thermalito and Gridley.

The Kings said they watched the news as thousands of Butte County students were impacted by the Lake Oroville Spillway emergency in February -- and wanted to see how they could help.  Superintendents and principals in affected districts worked with Butte County Superintendent Tim Taylor to hold 3 rally assemblies this morning across Butte County.

The Palermo rally included students from Berry Creek, Bangor and Palermo at Golden Hills playground.
