Business Management

This class gives students the opportunity to set up and run a simulated business.  With the guidance of the instructor and real-world business partners, the students determine the nature of their business, its products, services, management, structure and engage in daily business operations.  Emphasis is placed on emulating good business practices using current business software, communications and the internet for business transactions.  Students may participate in job-shadows to enhance their learning.

You Can Earn: A Certificate of Proficiency and high school credits.

How to Enroll for Business Management:

  • High School Students:  You need to be at least 16 years old and see your counselor or call ROP at 879-7457.

Fees: There is no cost for high school students.

Location:  Chico High School

Duration:  This class meets at Chico High School two hours daily for two semesters and begins in the fall.
