Retail Sales and Service

This class trains students for entry-level sales and sales related jobs. Training includes cash register operation, inventory control, stocking, salesmanship, customer relations, advertising and displays, buying, entrepreneurship and other career opportunities. Non-paid internships may take place in businesses where the dollar is exchanged.

You Can Earn: A Certificate of Proficiency, High School credits, and Butte College credits.

How to Enroll for Retail Sales and Service:

• High School Students:  You need to be at least 16 years old and see your counselor or call ROP at 879-7457.

Fees: There is no cost for high school students.

Location:  Durham High School, Las Plumas High School, Oroville High School, Paradise High School & Pleasant Valley High School

Duration: This two-semester class meets two hours daily Monday through Friday, and begins in the fall.
