Dental Radiography

The Butte County ROP is offering a course in Radiation Certification. The course will be held in the ROP Dental Lab.

 *NOTE:  Each class must have a minimum of 12 students.  Money will be refunded if we do not have enough students to have a full class.

 Cost:  $300 - This payment may be paid by Debit Card, Visa, Master Card, Money Order or dentist office check payable to Butte County ROP.  No Personal checks accepted.  Payment must accompany registration. 

 The first 12 people that return this registration with the appropriate fees will be accepted into the class.

 Materials needed the first day:                  

• One box #2 dental film (single packet)
• One x-ray mount
• Rinn X-ray holder for film (for PA’s and BWX)
•  A complete materials sheet will be mailed prior to class starting.

Prerequisites:                      

• Basic dental terminology
• Current practice of infection control standards
• Basic tooth anatomy
• 2 months recent dental experience in the last year
• Currently employed in a dental office
