![]() Main Page Courses Schedules Request Info Resources Staff Working with Children This course is designed to help students acquire knowledge of career opportunities in the field of teaching and other school site educational professions. Instruction will include career preparation standards, basic academics, safety, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Students will observe and/or participate in a variety of classroom settings and participate in an internship with a local school. This class helps prepare students for entry into college or university teacher training programs. Pre-school certification is available.
You Can Earn: A Certificate of Proficiency, high school credits, and Butte College units How to Enroll for Working with Children:
Fees: There is no cost for high school students. Location: Oroville High School Duration: This two-semester class meets for two hours daily Monday through Friday, and begins in the fall. Please see the ROP Course Schedule for more class information. For More Information
