![]() Main Page Courses Schedules Request Info Resources Staff Welding Fabrication This class provides students with training in the area of industrial welding fabrication and manufacturing. Students learn skills in the areas of welding, sheet metal work, heat treating/hardfacing, use of tools, light construction and equipment safety. Upon completion of this course, students will be qualified for entry-level jobs in welding, cutting and metal fabrication. Internships with local manufacturers offer students on-the-job learning experiences. Class objectives are focused toward optional AWS Welding Certification. Students have the opportunity to participate in Skills USA (VICA) competitions.
You Can Earn: A Certificate of Proficiency, high school credits and Butte College credits. How to Enroll for Welding Fabrication:
Fees: There is no cost for high school students. Location: Durham High School, Las Plumas High School & Pleasant Valley High School Duration: This two-semester class meets two hours daily Monday through Friday and begins in the fall.
