Digital Photography

This one hour course provides students with the entry-level skills necessary to be successful in the digital photography industry.  Besides learning the art of photography, students gain skills in graphic arts, photojournalism, law enforcement forensics, studio portraiture, landscapes and digital photograph manipulation.  Students will be able to link digital photography to other art forms and understand its application to careers.

You Can Earn: A Certificate of Proficiency and high school and college credits at Butte College.

How to Enroll for Digital Photography:

  • High School Students:  You need to be at least 16 years old and see your counselor or call ROP at 879-7457.

Fees: There is no cost for high school students.

Location: Chico High School

Duration: This two-semester class meets one hour daily Monday through Friday and begins in the fall.
