CAROCP - (CA Association Regional Occupational Centers/Programs)
The mission of the California Association of Regional Occupational Centers and Programs (CAROCP) is to support ROCP's in providing exemplary career development and workforce preparation which contribute to student success and to the economic development of California.

Private Industry Council
The Private Industry Council of Butte County (PIC) is a Private Non-Profit Corporation.  It is jointly governed by a 19 member Private Industry Council Board and the Butte County Board of Supervisors.  The  Private Industry Council administers Federal and State Job Training funds for employment and job training and related programs and services.

Cal Works
CalWORKs is a welfare program that gives cash aid and services to eligible needy California families. The program serves all 58 counties in the state and is operated locally by county welfare departments. If a family has little or no cash and needs housing, food, utilities, clothing or medical care, they may be eligible to receive immediate short-term help.

Butte-Glenn Community College
The mission of the Butte-Glenn Community College District is to provide quality education and services to the community. This includes: degree transfer and certificate programs in lower division arts and sciences and in vocational fields; basic skills instruction, English as a second language, and support services that help students to succeed at the post-secondary level; educational alliances and partnerships with local and regional business communities in the interests of promoting economic strength, tracking workforce needs, and upgrading the workforce; adult non-credit education; and community service courses and programs.

California State University, Chico
A popular residential campus in Northern California, Chico State offers over 100 undergraduate majors and options and is ranked as one of the top 5 public regional universities in the West.
 

CTE Online - Career & Technical Education
CTE Online is a site devoted to helping educators and leaders within this unique field to access quality professional development tools that support the alignment of site-based needs with regional resources. Instructional leaders will join industry specialists in using these resources to develop the skills necessary to align rich career and technical curricula with the promotion of academic skills commonly measured on state assessments our students and schools face each year.

HelpCentral.org
The purpose of HelpCentral.Org is to provide a website that lists low-cost and no-cost health and human services in Butte County, California. Visitors to the website are able to search by keyword or agency name for information about services. Information will be kept current through a consistent update process.
