Coping with Tragedy

Our hearts have been saddened by the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.  There are no words to describe the loss of young children, teachers and staff.   Our thoughts and prayers are with the Newton Community as they deal with this horrible tragedy.   It is important to offer reassurance to our children and each other when we are exposed to such a traumatic event.

Below are resources to assist you when communicating with parents and kids about violence and death.  There are also resources for safe schools and prevention information.

If you need any further assistance please let me know via email or call the office
at (530) 532-5761.
