***LOCATING MEALS & FAMILY FOOD BOXES DURING THE BEAR / NORTH COMPLEX WEST ZONE FIRE (UPDATED 10/6/20)***

 
In direct response to the wildfire evacuations of Berry Creek, Oroville and several other surrounding communities in Butte County, several sites have been set up to serve meals or provide groceries to anyone in need. Please be advised that service dates and times will vary per location/provider.
 
We encourage individuals and families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by not congregating at the meal sites and continuing to utilize social distancing. For this reason, all meals are designed to be “grab-and-go” and meals will not be consumed on-site.

Meals are FREE for ALL KIDS 18 and under. Parents, guardians or alternate individuals are welcome to pick-up the meals. CalKidz will improve the overall well-being of all students by directly providing Medi-Cal and Nutritional services. Our division is dedicated to educating California communities on available health services and providing hunger relief programs to improve the stability within California family households.
