Juried Art Show
Butte County based high school art teachers are invited to submit student work for the annual Superintendent's High School Art Show that typically occurs in March, National Youth Art Month. This event showcases the finest art work in the county and a team of jurors select especially impressive works for awards.
The goal of the show is to demonstrate what students can accomplish when provided with an opportunity to fully develop their artistic, cultural, and creative abilities through quality, standards-based arts learning. It's also to recognize high school visual art students, teachers, and programs in the county and to recognize the importance of providing arts education in public schools.
