Butte County Teachers To Be Honored at College National Title Game

Oroville, CA  Butte County Superintendent Tim Taylor and 16 Butte County Teachers, who lost their homes in the Camp Fire, will be traveling to the National College Football game on Monday, January 7th between Clemson and Alabama at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara.  The College Playoff Football Foundation will be dedicating this year's revenues generated to Butte County teachers.  The teachers will be joined by the 50 State Teachers of the Year during the second quarter to be recognized and celebrated.  The CFP Foundation has released this media advisory and below is a link to the various social media sites that CFP Foundation has created.  

"This is a huge honor for Butte County," said Tim Taylor.  "The teachers are going to have such a great experience.   The CFP staff is extremely excited to host our teachers and this will be a very memorable night for everyone."  

Superintendent Taylor will be working with the CFP Foundation staff beginning Friday through Monday at various events to promote the text drive.
