Caltrans Work Crew Training Program

The Caltrans Work Crew Training Program is a Statewide transitional employment program for formerly incarcerated men and women on California State parole. This program is possible through innovative collaborations between California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Caltrans, Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) andvarious Community Based Organizations throughout the state.

Who Is Eligible:

  • Must be on active California State Parole
  • Must be assigned to a partnering program
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Pass pre-employment interview
  • Attend Road Side Safety Training
