Cooling Centers
- Chico Friends Meeting, 1601 Hemlock St, Chico
- Safe Space Shelter is offering a temporary, indoor cooling center for those seeking respite from the extreme heat. Snacks, AC, water, and dog food will be available during Cooling Center hours.
- Available from 2pm to 8pm at Chico Friends Meeting.
- Open to all. Smokers accepted, individuals will be asked to smoke outside, underneath a pop-up canopy. All pets including non-service animals accepted.
- No fee.
Butte-Glenn 2-1-1

Food Relief Resources
There are several organizations providing food for evacuees.
