BCOE CHARTER SCHOOL AUTHORIZATION AND OVERSIGHT

The charter oversight office coordinates the programmatic and fiscal oversight for charter schools approved by the Butte County Board of Education and serves as a resource to the Butte County's charter schools. Charter oversight work is intended to support the Butte County Office of Education’s commitment to the success of every student and the excellence of every educator.

Michelle Sanchez

Senior Director of Special Projects & District Support

Michelle Sanchez is the Senior Director of Special Projects, District Support and Charter Oversight and is a member of the Coordinated District Support Team for the Butte County Office of Education. She has had the privilege of serving as a middle and high school teacher, a district curriculum coordinator, an assistant principal, principal, and principal/superintendent.
